FTVA Board of Director’s Meeting:

1. Call to order 1311L

   Graham – Heritage Chapter/ Gething – Mid-Atlantic Region
   Chapter (via Zoom)/ Toillion – Aloha Chapter (via Zoom)
2. Introduce those present, in person and via Zoom
3. Previous meeting minutes – Approved with amendment
4. Treasurer’s Report/Update – Approved (need to research other
   institutions)
5. Old Business:
   1. Brochure
      Vigilant Partners Director completed
   2. Organization Focus Committee
      Business plan is up for sharing, Implementation plan is in the works.
      Next meeting is resked for 26 Aug, 1830 Eastern
   3. Vigilant Partners (VP)
      Email to members pending. Weaker than expected responses
   4. New emblem
      Accepted, use it was directed.
   5. Golf Tourney
      Golf Club of Texas/ Registration form posted
   6. Reunion setup
      16 AF POC to be designated, working with Mr. Staycoff for
      now, Hall of Honor Induction presiding official to be asked
      for, Fallen Eagles ceremony presiding official to be asked
      for, Banquet guest speaker request to go to 16 AF/CC
      (alternative CCC) out this coming week
   7. RAF Chicksands Collection – NSA crypto museum to take
      all

   1. Renew Quicken – Approved
   2. Adopt new emblem
      in prep for the reunion, Ted Colquhoun is working with a
      vendor that did a mock up

   1. Lee Anthony mentioned:
      The propwash gang is expecting at least 70+ attendees
      we need to ensure the report get to the state that we are
      still a nonprofit.
   2. Pepito mentioned the a retired 25 IS/CC is interested in
      standing up a Florida panhandle chapter – board
      absolutely approved/agreed that we should work to get him
      all the helpful info he might want/need
   3. From the Aloha chapter:
      Currently on hiatus due to low membership
      Requested assistance in locating Hawaii FTVA members –
      Roy’s to do
   4. From the Heritage chapter:
      Still pinning appropriate veterans with a Vietnam pin
      The pavers around the EC-47 are almost sold out, the new
      wing CC is discussing expanding the area – more to come
9. Remain In Touch inputs due 1 September
   Next meeting 22 August, 1300 Central
   Action items:
   a. Ted, get hats made, ask about shirts
   b. Roy, create Election Committee email
   c. Greg, facilitate Hall of Honor committee activities
   d. Andy, provide info to Roy about checks received
   e. Brock, draft memo to 16 AF/CC
   f. Pepito, coordinate with Chuck Alison about creation of
   another chapter
