About Us

What does FTVA do?

The Freedom Through Vigilance Association is a private, non-profit corporation dedicated to the support and perpetuation of the objectives of the US Air Force and USAF Security Service and its successor Commands/Agencies, and to the support of social, educational, and humanitarian services. Its principal location is San Antonio, Texas, with Chapters in Washington, DC (Mid-Atlantic Chapter); Honolulu, HI (Aloha Chapter); San Angelo, TX (Heritage Chapter), Sacramento, CA (Gold Country Chapter), Salt Lake City, UT (Wasatch Chapter), the Hurlburt Field, FL (Sunshine Chapter), and Colorado Springs, CO (Rocky Mountain Chapter) areas.

Our Objectives

Objectives are to foster continued awareness of the missions and accomplishments of the USAF in general and of the Air Force Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance Agency particular. Eligible for membership are all former military and civilian members of USAFSS, ESC, AFIC, AIA, AF ISR Agency, 25th Air Force and all former and current military and civilian members of the organizations that formed the 16th Air Force. Surviving spouses of deceased personnel are eligible for associate member status.
