FTVA Board of Director’s Meeting:

1. Call to order 1305L

4. Treasurer’s Report/Update – Approved
5. Old Business:
   1. Spring Social
      16 May 25 – attendance was light (37 folks by Mr. Williams’ count), but A3 and Dep A3, CCCE were able to join us. Attendance was low, but cost was also low.
   2. MARC Spring Social
      16 May 25 – MARC Spring Social – held on 17 May 25 – 17 attendees. Turn out was light, but camaraderie and stories shared by all.
   3. Brochure
      Addressing “What’s in it for me?” (Ought to have verbiage ready) – Mr. Brockmiller will assemble – New deadline is the fall reunion.
   4. Organization Focus Committee
      Mr. Brockmiller to lead, will email confirmation of participation to various chapters. MARC input, during the week, 1830 EDT is a good time.
   5. Vigilant Partners (VP) director
      Mrs. Rolirad will review all and respond to the board with a way ahead. Reached out to Mr. Jim McClendon, but no response
   6. Insurance
      Paid
   7. New emblem
      Approved to post on front of website and add to RiT announcement email.
6. New Business:
   1. Banking
      Security Services paperwork might be done, finally. They’ve put up several roadblocks (called twice by different people asking for the same thing). RBFCU and Navy FCU are leading contenders – more research to be done and reported back
   2. Golf Tourney
      Bob Benitez has a meeting with the Golf club of Texas on 17 June. Local BBQ is strongly recommended by the board. Tiered pricing structure is a possible path to encourage more involvement by the military.

8. Around the room
       Remain In Touch inputs due 1 June
       Hall of Honor (HoH) coins will be rounded up. Mr. Brockmiller
   wants to send one to deserving HoH inductees.
       Building 2007 is not evacuated, yet and still available for the Hall
   of Honor ceremony on 17 Oct (Gateway space is reserved). If the
   club has to be used, we need to engage with 16 AF Protocol about
   the possibility of getting a bus to help ferry folks back to
   Security Hill.
       Mr. Colquhoun will gather measurements and get a quote to
   improve the plaque near the EC-47. Get a quote from
   Engrave-Tech.
       From Mr. Lawson suggested we make a contest of the new
   emblem and add FTVA membership as an incentive for
   participating in the golf tournament.
       Mr. Gething estimates the next zoom only meeting will be
   25 June, announcement coming via Facebook.
       Next meeting 20 June
       Marriott documents need to be signed and returned – ASAP.
