  3. Old Business:

Annual Event Hotwash: Some discussion about the banquet, how successful it was, even if 20 seats were empty. It was suggested that at the golf tournament, the board may hand out 20 tickets to various airmen attending. At the picnic was also mentioned as a really good place to distribute some of those tickets. It was even suggested that we give the CCC 10 tickets to distribute. Having the 16 AF provide a POC by March, civilian Steve Staycoff has indicated he is willing help as the POC. Next year, the checklist for all events needs to be started by March. Having Mr. Pohl’s support through the 2023 reunion was tremendous. Use of Stillman park, vice Stapleton, was approved by the board – reserve the space as early as possible.

  4. New Business:

Annual Membership meeting – hybrid. As suggested at the annual membership meeting by the Mid-Atlantic Regional, have the meeting so those in the San Antonio spaces can meet in person while ALSO having Zoom connectivity available. Changes to the Spring Social- discussed were the option of recreating the social as a 16 AF picnic that we sponsor. It was proposed that we look to find a way to give each chapter funds to do something similar. Ken Maynard reminded all that we have mindful of our bylaws and the requirements levied on us by the IRS.

Tom Nurre Condolences – the discussion felt extreme sorrow we all felt.
